FAQ
Right now, this website is only buses from the Clark County School District in Southern Nevada. Right now, I have limited web space, so that's all I can fit. I might add a few extras from other states in the future.
No and no. This site is only a collection of pictures and information about CCSD buses. No buses or merchandise is for sale here. Please look for companies offering what you're looking for. You should find distributors, merchandise, article links, bus manufacturers, and etc. if you search. I don't make money off links. Remember, I am not responsible for any damage to your computer from sites on my links page.
Check "New Stuff" on the inline frame on the home page or I may not have updated that time. I can't be expected to update EXACTLY every month like all the other school bus picture sites say. I have to have a life, right? But I will try to update every month. There will be times I can't update.
Their website address is www.ccsd.net. I do not work for the Clark County School District, so you have to contact them on their website or by phone. You can find contact information on there. You can also find jobs on their human resources page (like bus driver?).
It might be your computer or the server. This website might not work well with Apple/Macintosh or Web TV. The problem with my last look were because of image sizes. If you click the "Page 2" buttons on the Photo Gallery pages, the reason why is I didn't put anything on them. Some have pictures on them, but they're on the main page for that model.
Believe me, I did get E-mails like this. You don't have to be here or on any other school bus websites. Just don't visit if you hate school buses!! I don't care if you hate this site, and it's for people who have an interest in transportation, like seeing the pictures, etc.
I welcome you to contact me!! If you have any pictures of CCSD buses, questions, suggestions, problems, or anything just e-mail me or use my contact form.
I want to chat with other school bus drivers/fans all over the world. How can I do this?
I know a great website where you can do this!! I even signed up when I heard about this. Go to www.schoolbusfleet.com and click on "Forums." The reason I wont give you the link to the Forums is I want you to look at the website and read the great articles. The Forum button is on the list to the left on School Bus Fleet Magazine's site. You should enjoy them as much as I do. My SBF name is SchoolBusFan. It is free to sign up, and chat.
I have a bus related website. Can you post the link?
Sure I can!! I would love to post your site here. Just e-mail me on my contact form or at my e-mail box with a brief description about your site. Just make sure the website is not for profit (make sure it doesn't make money like companies, distributors, and businesses).
I would love to post your CCSD or bus seen in Clark County bus picture here. Just e-mail me, and make sure it's a CCSD bus picture (new or old). I might not be able to post, depending on how much space I have. I will try to though.
Is your picture qualified?
Is it a picture of a CCSD bus/bus in Clark County, NV not pictured here?
- I can make an exception to that.
Is your name on the picture?
- I have to give you credit for taking that great picture. It wouldn't be right not to. :)
Do you have a brief description provided with the picture in the E-mail?
- I have to describe your picture. I'm sure you've looked at the other pictures on this site; they should give you what I want described. Just make sure to write as much information as you can, any is better than none.
Is your picture being sent and placed in the e-mail?
- Just send in an e-mail.
- When it get to me, I can put your name on the photo and resize as needed and do some final editing for final publishing.
I know what you're thinking, it's tough, right? I DO want you to send me a CCSD bus/bus in Clark County picture you took, and I'll try to make exceptions. Don't be afraid. If you have questions, click here to send me an e-mail. Basically, as long as it's a CCSD or "Clark County seen" bus, I'll take it. :)
I want to use one of your pictures.
Contact me by e-mailing me or on my Contact Form. You are not allowed to use any of my pictures without my permission!! Always ask. When contacting me, please provide a brief explanation on how it will be used. If you are a business, then you might have to pay a fee. But I will not be selling pictures for now.
What kind of camera do you use to take your pictures?
I use a digital camera to take most of my photos.
What routes do these buses travel?
I don't know. Even if I knew, I wouldn't list them here for driver and child safety. If you have a child who rides the bus, you should have received something in the mail from CCSD's transportation department. You can contact them by phone or on their website. All information is on www.ccsd.net. I do not work for CCSD.
Do you work in transportation?
I do not work in transportation right now, but I do plan to later on.
Why do you only put pictures of CCSD's and buses from Clark County on your website?
Since there are a lot of websites on the Internet with pictures from all over the country and I didn't see many pictures from here, I decided to start a website with pictures from Clark County, NV. I got the idea when I searched the internet and only found one website and one picture on another site (which isn't up anymore).
"Why isn't there a picture of Citizens Area Transit's Gillig Phantom?"
The reason is because this is a website about school buses. I might start a transit site later on when I get enough photos. On my links page, I have listed a couple of transit bus sites you can look at. You can also look at some of those sites and make paper transit buses. They're great paper models too; you put them together to form a 3-D model. Since some of those don't have CAT bus paper models, some of those sites let you paint your own for your own personal use (that means don't sell it without the authors permission!!). There is a site with CAT bus photos currently. Check my links or click here to go to Francisco's site.
"I want to buy a 2002 TC/2000"
Remember, I DO NOT SELL BUSES!! I still have people wanting to buy these buses. Contact your local auction or a distributor which you can find on many (Go to my links page) manufacturer's web sites.
Do you make money on your website (links, photos, etc.)?
No, I do not make any money on this site. It's a hobby I do to provide resources and information. I don't make money from links, selling pictures, or anything else. If I did, that would be against the contract I have with the website host.
