Saf-T-Liner HD
The Saf-T-Liner HD was bought for only one year. CCSD labeled them with a "22" for the first 2 numbers. Like the other rear engine Saf-T-Liner buses (Saf-T-Liner MVP ER and Saf-T-Liner ER), this bus isn't made anymore. But the design is similar to the new Saf-T-Liner HDX. The front panel on the HDX is divided into 3 sections under the windshield. 50 were bought in 2002.

Number: 22929 Location: In front of Nellis AFB, NV. Interesting Fact: This was the only year of the HD. CCSD only bought 50 buses according to an article on Thomas' website. The year mark on this photo has the front picture of this bus on the left section of the graphic (Graphic is new in 2004). |
